Branding - Ohio Games and Collectibles

An ebay storefront looking to establish a videogame and collectibles brand.
Design Brief
The client’s original request was to have the Ohio Flag inside the silhouette of Ohio. I presented this design to better represent the client’s e-commerce brand.
Logo Design
I drew inspiration from Shopify’s shopping bag logo. The client primarily sells coins and videogames on Ebay. With this in mind, I’ve decided to combine the Ohio silhouette with a coin to form a shopping bag.
Word Mark
For the typeface, I opted to use the BUNGEE font. The rounded edges and capital letters make for a fun and welcoming font. Plus, it was a funny coincidence that the font was named similar to one of my favorite video game development teams, Bungie.
The client suggested to change the O’s to a CD and a coin. I’ve decided to incorporate the client’s request by utilizing the negative space of the letter.
Business Cards
Every order ships out with with a thank you card.
To make it easier for returning customers, the client wanted a QR code that takes the users back to the storefront.
Web Elements
The client wanted a branded Ebay storefront. At the top of the page, he wanted custom banners that can be swapped out based on the season, or a special promotion.
